It only takes 10 minutes by underground to reach the Office from the railway station and 30 minutes of shuttle to join Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport. Established in Lyon, but also intervening in France and abroad, the Office aims at bringing legal issues of property, business, banking law and more general issues.
Areas of intervention
Property law includes construction law, off-plan law, co-ownership law, lease management law and also property ownership law.
The Office aims at advising investors during the establishment of a real estate project, at setting up a project of off-plan properties, of legal and fiscal feasibility of investment. The investors will be accompanied and informed on the legal evolution of their investment.
Advice in property law also concerns the creation of non-trading real estate company, of limited liability companies.
Moreover, the Office can represent one or several parties before all the Courts in France when there is a lawsuit. As far as business law is concerned, the Office concentrates essentially on the patrimonial reorganisation of independent professionals and on the commercial litigation.
The patrimonial reorganisation of independent professionals concerns the craftsmen, the tradesmen and the liberal professionals wishing to exercise in a company or to go into partnership with a third party. A legal and tax feasibility study is carried out before any decision making.
The Office can also intervene in commercial litigation in order to represent one or several parties before Commercial Court when there is a lawsuit on, claim recoveries, unfair competition, abusive breach of contracts …
Insurances law concerns construction insurances and personal liability. However, lawsuits can occur as regard dwelling disasters or accidents.
Dubaï and the United Arab Emirates
 The Office is involved in property and business law in the United Arab Emirates and especially in the Emirate of Dubai. The Office knows how to advise with precision any investor wishing to buy one or more properties in order to occupy it, to rent it or to occupy it as a second home. Dubai is an emerging market but it has legal practices different from the ones in France. Dubai attracts investors from everywhere thanks to its large opening, its stability, but also thanks to its pragmatism. The lawyer aims at carrying out legal and tax feasibility studies, at negotiating and at amending the sales and purchases agreements in order to avoid any legal risk. He also checks the compatibility of the contract according to the French law and the standards of private international law. The Office accompanies or represents the investor throughout the investment by systematically going there.
The Office can also set up a company in the Emirates according to the same method: by accompanying the company throughout its process of setting-up. The knowledge of people and local practices are indispensable to make a successful setting-up.

The Office commits itself to offer certain accessibility and to inform to client on the work in progress, on the dates of the stages of a procedure and to answer to any questions very regularly.
The Office answers for a strict deontology and especially concerning the independence. It can advise a client against a project doomed to failure and to refuse it.
Concerning the fees, the Office establishes an agreement in which there is the mode of payment.
It can be of three different orders:
- Inclusive: the fees are fixed for a service in demand.
- Hourly rate: It depends on the files, on what is at stake and on the difficulty of the case. 180 $ per hour VAT included
- Success fees (the most popular) : when the files allows it, it can be asked a basic rate and a percentage of the result. eg 10%
Meetings at our Cabinet or at distance is invoiced at the price of 60 € VAT included.
